For a person with oily skin who has been struggling with severe acne and black spots on his face, chest and back for over a decade, this soap has helped tremendously. I took Akutan for a year and used the Cera Ve Cleanser. A few months after the acute, my outbreaks started again. I was so upset because I didn't want to go back to Akutan. I then started using SheaMoisture (soap) on my face and body. The pimples are gone and my skin is so soft. My skin is hydrated but my face is noticeably less oily. Definitely recommend using this! The only thing I want to warn is that the bar of soap can stain the soap dish. However, a good exfoliation cannot fix anything!
