Review on πŸ‘“ GMS Optical 15mm Soft Foam Self-Adhesive Nose Pads for Glasses, Sunglasses, and Eye-wear - 5 Pairs, Black by Ben Hamilton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They feel soft and comfortable. Exactly what I needed!

I bought new plastic glasses for computer work and the bridge of my nose is pressing on my nose, so I looked for pads. I ordered two different types, the brown foam ones pictured here and some clear silicone ones also sold on Revain.com (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FAR70SS?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_= oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00). Silicone came yesterday morning, I've been wearing it for two days. The foam ones arrived today and I like them much better. Here's the thing: the silicone goggles are really big and the wrong shape (half moon shape) for my frames. Their edges stick out around the front and back of my frames and look weird. I place the sticky side on the frame, but the non-sticky side feels sticky against my nose. They are very thin and look like plastic. They make my recordings look ridiculous. It's better than nothing, but as soon as I replaced them with foam rubber, I noticed a difference. The foam ones are better shaped, more oval and slightly smaller. They are less visible. They appear to be just a hair thicker and serve as better seals than silicone. They don't stick to my nose. They feel soft and comfortable. I'm very glad I bought both types to try them both and see the difference. I would like to send the silicone back, but I can't. Just thought I'd pass on my experience in case it helps someone else. -- Just updating: I've been wearing them for a few days now and they are very comfortable. Fixed the frame pressing on the nose issue. They are not as sticky as silicone but stay on the frame. It comes with extra nozzles so I can replace them when they get dirty. I have raised my rating to 5 stars. Such a small thing and so cheap, but it makes a huge difference to my comfort when working on the computer!
