It is very difficult to find a wire wheel that lasts a long time in the grinding machine. Wire circles are short lived. very long at any speed, which is why you buy a dozen of these to keep in your tool box. I've tried a few of these and they work very well, especially considering the price. Speed wheels work much better. Know what to expect when running at those RPMs. They will very quickly take control into their own hands, destroying almost everything in their path. Eat rust off the body along with sealant, paint, rubber, or anything else. If you run them at rated speed, the results will be lightning fast. Note to hobbyists: wear safety glasses and a full face shield. They WILL break and pieces WILL get stuck in your face. I said WILL. Expect this behavior at these speeds. All to say they're worth the money, but hobbyists need to know what to expect and plan for.
