Review on πŸ’ͺ Cardani Secure Hold Glue: Latex-Free Adhesive for a Perfect False Eyelash & Eyebrow Look! by Lauren Allen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Finally! Something I can use!

After many years of regular use of the old duo, I began to suffer from the same reactions that many lash wearers experience: swelling, itching and flaking. I thought I had developed an allergy to latex. So I tried latex-free glue. The non-latex glue still caused my eyelids to swell, itch and peel. I allowed my eyes to return to normal and then tried a latex and formaldehyde free product. Unfortunately, although the product held up quite well, after two days I started looking terrible again. Honestly, eyelid puffiness, itching, and peeling is ugly. It kind of defeats the purpose of wearing eyelashes. I tried over ten different products and they all caused the same problems. I did some more research on the internet and decided to spend a lot of money on True Glue. Shipping was about $24, but I happily spent the money hoping to finally find a solution to this nightmare. I applied it but within 2-3 hours the lashes on both ends came off. Repeated attempts to attach them were in vain. I was depressed, but I was also determined. I contacted the company for advice on how to get better results. They suggested waiting longer for more adhesion and double application of the product on the lash band. I followed her instructions. Multiple times. Unfortunately, I did not have the success I had hoped for with this product. The lash bands fell off before I even had a chance to eat lunch! I was very disappointed as I had high hopes for this product. More online research followed. I've read multiple online reviews of various adhesives and hundreds of Revain reviews for various products. Eventually I came across something being sold by a company that caters to women battling cancer. That caught my attention because if anyone can have food intolerances, it's probably a person undergoing chemotherapy. If anyone needed hair replacement products (eyelashes, eyebrows, wigs, etc.), it was the same chemo patient. So, I reasoned, if Cardani was gentle enough for the delicate needs of these brave women, this product COULD be gentle enough for the average old me and my dangerous allergies. Hallelujah IT WORKS, IT WORKS, IT WORKS! I have used this product. within a week and I'm happy to report that I think I've found the answer to my problem. It took a little experimentation to get it working properly, but I learned how to get great performance from this product. I haven't noticed any swelling, itching or flaking after about a week of daily use. While some Revain reviewers state they wear for over 24 hours after a single use, I have to say that this is not recommended for any product in general, especially for the eyes. Your skin needs to breathe. To get the best hold, I apply the product to a lash strip (the glue is a thin liquid fluorescent blue that eventually clears) and wait about 90 seconds for the glue to set. sticky. Not ten seconds, not thirty seconds, but ninety seconds. Then gently apply the tape to the lash line and voila! Instant glamor that outlasts everything. Day. Long.
