Review on Trimmer Philips OneBlade Pro QP6510/20, black by Agata Kamia-Jabo ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

One of the best offers, glad I bought it.

As an experienced user of electric devices for the face (3 razors and a universal styler), I can say that the device performs its functions 100% - shortening and styling stubble or a short beard. They can be given contours to a haircut, they can even be shaved if desired, although this will not be as high quality as after a razor (the state is approximately the same as in the evening after a morning shave). The device is very simple: a handle, a power button, a charge indicator with three stripes. Lightweight, high quality, comfortable to hold. The main advantage of the device is a wide and flat double-sided blade with cushioning, located at a very good angle. It's just a song. None of the stylers have even come close to the level of usability that this device offers. I specifically tried to come up with a more difficult task for him, but I could not find a situation where it would be inconvenient to use it. Due to the width, it is easier and faster to make even contours than with a conventional trimmer, on the face, on the temples, on the back of the head - anywhere. You can remove the bristles close to the skin due to the flat blade, it does not cause irritation to me. The universal nozzle has 12 positions: 10 in increments of 0.5mm (from 0.5 to 5mm), 7mm and 9mm, this should be enough for most situations. The nozzle is put on and taken off easily and intuitively, the length is adjustable with a wheel. The device is airtight, which means that wet shaving is possible (I haven’t tried it myself, I don’t like it), and you can also rinse the blade right in the course of work (convenient). Charging time is not accurate, but somewhere in an hour it is fully charged. By the way, the charger and connector are similar to other similar Philips devices (razor, styler) - it’s convenient if you already have, for example, a Philips razor, you can keep it in the bathroom or take only one charge on a trip. The manufacturer recommends changing the blade every 4 months. I don’t know yet what his real resource is, but I can assume that one and a half times more than the declared one (unless you have wire instead of hair growing on your face :).

Pros
  • Lightweight, compact and fits well in the hand. A wide flat blade at a comfortable angle is a very good solution, copes with its tasks by 100% - see comment
Cons
  • No objective deficiencies were identified. Unless the owners of a long beard may not appreciate it, because. the upper limit of the bristle length adjustment range is 9 mm, this must be borne in mind.
