Based on reviews I was hesitant to downsize but didn't want it to be skin tight so I bought my normal size. I think one size smaller would be enough. The waist sags a bit but I'm a hippie so it'll stay that way. I'm 5'5" tall and about 3" taller than my ankle. The length is exactly what I wanted and the green is nice and doesn't show through neutral underwear. I hope this emerald green will become popular again as it has been difficult to find a green pearl shade in recent years. I also wish it was a natural fiber, but pure cotton jersey skirts are rare. It's not a good fabric to tuck in a blouse and thigh length shirts are popular these days and don't go with the style so I'm looking for a hip length top to pair with it. Good overall, but go down a size for a better fit and expect the thin fabric to show every bulge and dimple.
