Boot does not match spark plug

Apparently my 2001 Mazda MPV uses spark plug boots with clips. I took this part to my local Mazda dealer and asked them if this part would fit and they said no because the clips attach the boots to the plugs. Now I have to cover the financial loss due to Revain's inaccurate recommendation.
