I have mixed feelings about this tripod. On the one hand, it fit in my suitcase and kept my camera steady for 30-60 seconds at dusk in Hawaii. This is easily my new travel tripod when I'm flying and need to pack something small, or on a camping trip. On the negative side, the usability just isn't great. Twist lock vs flip lock is a pain. Curls with open legs are cool. The ball head is fine. The legs seem quite fragile, especially when they are far apart, but they are strong enough. I shot with a Pentax K5II with grip and an old MF 50mm 1.2 lens. I think my medium format materials will help with that. The self-folding legs make it more compact, but also mean you'll have to contend with a minimum B-pillar height - not that much - but they add some vibration/movement when things get really windy. Not the best tripod in my opinion. I've used it but it's not the worst either. He did what he had to do and rode well. So for these merits - I will continue to recommend it to others.
