My husband ordered this for coin authentication (he is a collector) and he loves it. It's easy to use and seems to give very accurate readings, which he can then download to his computer when needed. It easily and very accurately measures both the OD and ID (and the display is easy to read). It also has a depth gauge that slides out from the bottom (not digital, but offers imperial and metric measurements). The slide was a bit stiff at first but loosened up fairly quickly. His only gripe is that the dial is a little "loose" and tends to slip (which is an issue given its small dimensions), but it's also cheaper than others he's seen, so he's not too upset about that . (provided it doesn't weaken with prolonged use). In general, he likes it very much for precise measurements.
