Best thing for the money, glad I did it.

Settings as a second monitor to MacBook - brightness 100%, contrast 100%, color R 90%, G 90%, B87%, PAL-SECAM profile (almost like sRGB, but gamma is closer to the desired one). The colors are a little squeezed, especially for yellow, less red, the brightness is a little less than a MacBook, but overall not bad. The design, compactness, convenience of a support and management please. Only pixel size is annoying, but retina is another story.1

Pros

Excellent in many ways. For its price it's really good.

Cons

There are no highlights, there are some color and backlight distortions, which I attribute to the difference in angle to different parts of the screen when you sit close. So black is good. Not enough settings.
