Review on 🔧 Precision and Durability Combined: GemRed Digital Finder Protractor Stainless by David Caldwell

As a senior sheet metal fabricator and ME in a billion dollar company with a large sheet metal department, I was forced to re-evaluate our protractor needs after struggling with faulty protractors from a traditional manufacturer . I decided to start exploring. After trying all the digital and manuals on the market; It was the winner. It's by no means perfect, but it certainly outperforms every other model I've experimented with. Pros: Digital readout means quick angle detection. Exactly the sensor I could ever need. It reads to 1/10th of a degree and that means it. No parallax error reading = no need to squint. The large radius leading edge allows you to measure the inside corners of workpieces with an inside radius of up to 1.75 cm. very good design for solid contact battery will likely survive contacts It's just sad but it's better than an $80 manual with a missing weld and miscalibrated indicator marks out of the box. to the 3" mark and drilled a hole in the other end for easy hanging. Too bad it was a standard design option
