I use this with my 18’ diameter Intex pool. It has made a huge difference in having to change the B type filters in my 2500 gpm pump. I have used only 1 for the entire 2 month season in New Hampshire. Not sure why people complain about them breaking down. I use Baquacil products rather than chlorine. The only maintenance I have to do is rinse the filter every two weeks with a garden hose and clean the outlet at the pool wall which in my area of the woods gets clogged up with pine needles and bugs which get through on the outside of the skimmer basket. Not much you can do about that except to use a net on the top of the water and skim it yourself.
