We had the previous model for many years before ordering a new strainer and the old version has served us well for many more years than we expected. We just got our new colander in the mail and have used it 2 times already. As far as true testimonials go, my opinion is mostly based on using our old colander. We haven't had enough time to really test our new screen to see if its quality meets our expectations, but so far so good!
