Small Appliances First Impression

Received Yabano Personal Blender today. My first impression: Complete set: two sports bottles with caps. A ring of raised blades. A seed/coffee bean cup with a flat blade ring and blender base. QUALITY: The sports bottles are thicker than expected and have a nice, comfortable handle that clips around the center of the cup. The sports bottle cap has a rubber stopper in the small cap that goes into the drinks area. The base of the blender has a nice metallic look. It has small rubber pads on the bottom to hold the counter. My first smoothie had ice cream, raspberries, spinach and chia seeds, plus blueberries and banana. I sweetened it with agave. My goal was mainly to see how he messed things up. I chopped up the chia in a small cup of a seed blender with no problem. Sometimes there is no time to soak them. The power button is controlled by pressing or holding with your thumb. First I mixed ice cream, berries, banana and yogurt. No additional liquid. Deflated pretty quickly. Then I added chia and spinach. It has also merged. Smoothie consistency was pretty good. There were some raspberry seeds that stayed whole, I was able to mix them in a bit longer. blueberry. Ice cream and spinach mixed to a homogeneous mass. I have used Nutrabullet, Blentec and Vitamix. I would compare it to Nutrabullet. Don't get me wrong, I love Nutrabullet, but I wanted something more compact with sports blender bottles. So far this little blender has been exactly what I was hoping for. I'll try to come back and visit again after we've had it for a while. Hope that helps. Update September 21, 2019 So far we love this little blender. I mainly use it for a quick breakfast shake to mix ice cream, almond milk, protein powder and fruit. It's great to mix and match. I wanted to add that how you stack your blender jar is important. Make sure there is some liquid next to the blade so the remaining ingredients mix well. I put ice on the greens to weigh them down a bit. The smoothie book will help you understand how to make layered smoothies if you are new to the business.
