Vallo-3 are normal dress shoes for children. It is good for formal occasions such as proms, weddings or family reunions. But I have a few caveats with this shoe that I can't ignore. First, the square toe design looks simple and lacks style. Second, the size seems wrong. I have a size 3Y for my son but the length seemed short and the grip was too tight. Finally, the Ortholite sockliner is a nice feature, but it doesn't make much of a difference in terms of comfort and cushioning. On the other hand, Vallo-3 has a decent tightening mechanism that is easy for kids to carry on their own. The matte ivory finish looks neat and sophisticated and goes well with children's formal outfits. All in all, if you are looking for a cheap dress shoe for your child, the Vallo-3 might be the right choice. However, expect some downsides and limitations that may require trade-offs.
