I HATE how these pads "shrink" after a few uses. Even if washed cold and not dried (air dried). The pads shrink a bit and sometimes don't cover the entire surface of the steam cleaner. Buying more and more of these things new is like a fucking scam. I also hate that a steam mop with these pads tends to PROTECT dust that doesn't sweep perfectly the first time. You end up with dust streaks all over the place, which you then have to wipe up with a wet paper towel. Again, I'm responsible for these things shrinking and not working properly after just a few uses. Eureka should investigate this and test new products to better address these issues. I have written and called them but I doubt they will change - would love to be a beta tester for new options here.
