Review on πŸ₯© Superior Quality USA Pan Aluminized Steel Meat Loaf Pan with Insert - Made to Perfection! by Samantha Davis

Not perfect but probably the best meatloaf pan

I wanted to save my review until I've used this pan for a while. I've had this skillet for 2 months now and have made about half a dozen turkey rolls from various recipes. If you don't want the meatloaf to be swimming in fat, you need a pan with an insert like this that lifts the loaf off the bottom of the pan and has holes for fat to drain. This pan also has a non-stick coating that beats all the cheap teflon coated pans that chip after a few uses. What is stopping me from giving this 5 stars are 2 issues. First, the hangers on the insert I received do not fit flat on the loaf pan. It's kind of tweaked. Several reviewers have also mentioned this issue. It doesn't particularly affect the preparation of meatloaf, but I think for that kind of money it should be reasonable. Another problem (and this has been mentioned by a lot of people) is the crumpled corners of the pan, where food residue from the cooking process collects. It's quite difficult to remove, but here is my solution. After cleaning the bottom pot, boil some water in a kettle, place one end of the pot in a bowl large enough to stand upright, and pour the boiling water into the bowl. The rest comes out immediately. Do the same with the other end of the pan.
