Sponge wear, wear resistance
I've used Ocelo Scotch Brite sponges (especially the larger 6" x 3 1/2" x 1") sponges for many years cleaning kitchen countertops with nothing but dish soap However, those (so far all) ordered this year 2020 have been divided (photo attached) It's not that the whole sponge deteriorates, but strangely 30-40% of the sponge breaks after 2-3 weeks use.These sponges are unacceptably less durable than before or compared to other products.
