Over the years I have used these mounts to mount phones to the handlebars of various motorcycles. Security is key. I've had a few styles, one of which was the RAM X mount. Sure enough with the rubber straps, but the clips got in the way of my volume buttons. Plus, let's face it, rubber bands are a pain. Then came the Lamicall phone holder, similar to the others I've had but much more durable and stylish. Simply slide your phone into the holder and then lock it in place. No need for elastic straps for a secure fit. Easily rotates from vertical to transverse position depending on the direction of travel. Tilts to protect camera lenses from bugs when riding a bare or almost bare bike - another big plus. i love this shop I just bought a second one for another bike so I don't have to switch. Large enough for iPhone 12 Pro Max with protective case.
