After looking at cheaper options I started looking at online reviews and was shocked at how easy it is to pick almost all low-end locks. If you're looking for a padlock, do your research before you spend $30 on the most popular cheap options—in this case, you can just slip a paper bag over the muff. a thief with some very large tools and lots of noise to get into this sucker, which hopefully will be enough to deter most of them. The key and lock cylinder works smoothly and there is a floating washer fitted to the end of the cylinder for added anti-drill protection which is nice to see. The fit is snug overall and doesn't leave much room for the tool. It would be nice if there was a way to secure the chains, so you'll need a separate lock for those too.
