1. The device does not expand the range of existing networks, but creates 2 new ones. In this case, the repeater sits on the channel of the main router 5 or 2.4 GHz (at the user's choice), after which, in some strange way, it distributes two channels of 5 and 2.4 GHz. 2. The repeater loses the Wi-Fi network several times a day, even being a meter away from the router. Having lost the signal, the repeater continues to distribute the network and may not try to restore communication with the router for hours. 3. Various software from D-Link for IOs (I doubt that Android is better) has minimal functionality and gives very limited administration options. If it works at all. For example, the D-link Wi-Fi program does not see a single device . in general, you have to act the old fashioned way through the browser and Ip devices. As a result: I strongly do not recommend purchasing this equipment.
