Our dogs just happened to have their yearly checkup the day I received this order from revain. Well, our vet's office was HORRIFIED when we mentioned we'd bought a pinch collar and pretty much DEMANDED that we immediately throw it away! They ranted for 10 minutes about how they cripple dogs with spinal injuries (like chain choke collars, which I knew already) and that these things resulted in throat, esophageal and other injuries and could easily lead to dogs DYING! OMG, I had no idea! My husband asked, if they were so bad, why are they still being sold? The answer is: manufacturers have lobbyists they PAY to fight for them in Washington. Duh. Money talks! It takes years and years to get something off the market once it's ON the market! I was so upset by this I didn't know what to do except come home and write this review. Once I took a picture of it, I threw it in the trash, not even returning it so someone else may end up with a dead dog. Please spread the word and don't use these!
