I definitely recommend buying, I didnt notice any disadvantages.
I did not try to connect eWelink, I took it exclusively for flashing. I immediately soldered the terminal block and, using the programmer, flashed the chip to my firmware. This model has an ESP8256 chip, keep this in mind, because. firmware from ESP8266 does not work on it. For Arduino IDE or Platform IO, also choose ESP8256. In general, it works well, suitable for purposes where you need to make a switch quickly and compactly.
