Review on πŸ”₯ High-Performance Cooking Torch for Sous Vide, Charcoal Lighting, Grilling, and Campfire Starting – Ideal for BBQ Grill, Steak Searing, and Creme Brulee – Searpro Gun (Butane or Propane Tank Sold Separately) by Janet Rivera

usually works well but cheaply made.

Does what it promises. The fire bell could have been tuned better to be more focused for sous vide, but that's a nitpick. The roar of the flames is definitely a fun picnic theater performance. Most notably, the handle is a cheap plastic shell that flexes and creaks and doesn't inspire confidence in strength, especially when dropped. My half price benozomatic ts4000 flashlight has a solid metal body. I understand that this is a small production, but for such a price the pen is bullshit. I hope I can change it so that there is less garbage. Check it out and make it better. In the end I leave it because its only real competition, the Grillmaster's SU-V pistol, costs twice as much, and I don't like form over function, the "grunt" style it avoids. PS I read some reviews that said it was difficult to light, I had no problems with constant lighting.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Upgradable
