They are perfect for my wider, shorter woman's legs! I ordered the size I will wear in kids shoes and they fit well! Although the opening is wider than other water boots (which I wanted because of the high instep), they stay in place during watersports. It also makes dressing easier. The bow support is a bonus, as is the fact that they merge automatically. The sole helps a lot in the pool. I'm so glad they worked because you don't have to return them after using them, although that's the only way to know if they work! I am very impressed and happy with this purchase!
