Bought this for my husband's new Verizon Android phone about a year ago. She takes a lot of photos and needs a lot of space. I regularly copied photos and videos to my home computer so that everyone would be interested. At some point in the past few months, the card and phone stopped working together. The phone switched to using internal storage and the card was in the slot but was "unmounted". The phone has not formatted or mounted the card. I took the card to my computer and tried to format it there but Windows said it couldn't format it. Windows also showed that the card was 31MB and not 16GB. After scouring the internet, I found that this has been reported multiple times for larger capacity Sandisk cards. There are rumors online that this is caused by a phone software update to "improve" SD card performance, but so far I haven't found any conclusive evidence. Everyone, of course, says it's not their fault. The 5-year limited warranty doesn't matter when the card is so cheap and customers pay shipping. No product will have a 0% bounce rate, but since this has happened to me I'm a bit biased now and will look at other brands. next time. If my spouse's phone has another SD card error (8GB Sandisk) I will update this review.
