Review on Hilph Canine Rear Leg Support System: Reusable Dog Leg Braces With Hot/Cold Gel Therapy For Hind Leg Injuries, Arthritis, And Post-Surgery Recovery by Jason Masango

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Recommended for the most behaved dogs.

My puppy is not a huge fan of this bulky item. Although you can remove the cold packs, this fits okay but tends to move around which beats the idea of protecting the spot (wound, injury etc). It caused more injury to my dog when she was left unsupervised for a couple of hours. It is uncomfortable with some rigid spots - around the Velcro area. I’d recommend a "sleeve” inserts prior to applying this to the dog’s hind leg. I returned this product and used other self adhesive wraps instead.

Pros
  • - The Hilph Canine Rear Leg Support System offers a non-invasive and reusable solution for dogs suffering from hind leg injuries, arthritis, and post-surgery recovery, providing a cost-effective and practical choice for pet owners
Cons
  • Additionally, the reusable nature of the leg braces may lead some owners to become complacent with their dog's recovery. If owners do not use the leg braces as directed, or if they rely too heavily on the hot/cold gel therapy, their dog's recovery period may be prolonged or even worsened. It is important for owners to remain vigilant and follow their veterinarian's treatment plan in conjunction with using the Hilph Canine Rear Leg Support System
