Bought a 40" and four 12" along with a Y splitter and installed it in a shallow cabinet that now has all round lights (2 on each side and 40" on the ceiling.) First one Piece is built - in line that motion activated was placed at hand level and we use a wave to turn the light on, originally I wanted it to be motion activated as we were getting close to closing but the motion sensor is designed to detect close hand movement. Now I'm glad it worked, if we had a switch we would swap the wiring to make it work without a motion sensor. We don't have a light switch or switch that plugs into an outlet plugged in, or maybe we'd just turn it on with a I decided to screw them to the wall instead of using 3M strips to make it easier or less true The inside was to remove the paint, which I was able to pierce with a tiny screwdriver.
