Review on Versatile Think Tank Urban Access 15 Side-Loading Backpack for Sony, Fuji, Canon, Nikon DSLR/Mirrorless Cameras by Ryan Yap

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for quick access to multiple cameras

I bought Urban Access 15 a few weeks ago. I set it up to have side access to my main Fujifilm cameras: an X-T3 with an XF 16.55mm lens attached and an X-T20 with an XF 50-140mm lens attached. The bag is perfect for my gear and allows me to remove any camera if needed. The bag has several interesting features. First, the upper shelf can be folded up and attached to one of the long dividers with Velcro. With this change, the top third of the chamber section becomes part of the upper compartment. This allows more personal items to be stowed away and accessed through the top zip. I asked Think Tank about this feature and was told the bag wasn't designed for it, but they know it works. The other thing is that the included strap can be replaced with the much nicer Tamrac Anvil 5" strap, which offers MAS/MOLLE attachment points. You just need to attach double-sided hooking material to the loop on your belt or in your pocket to making sure the connection is secure.I recommend this because both the belt and pouch are made of loop material and the belt can be tightened to connect without adding a loop hook.I have a Tamrac strap at one of the famous camera shops in New York purchased, it's only $15 In addition to the MAS/MOLLE attachment points, the Tamrac belt has better padding and support than the one that comes with the bag.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Clarity
