Interference low pigment student grade soft body acrylic

Arteza seems to have burst on the arts and crafts scene determined to make an impact in just about every category of art supplies and I've been curious despite the fact that they seemed to come at a higher price point than other supplies aimed at their market (which I assume is serious crafters and student level artists.) But I love iridescent and pearlescent parts so I bought the 10 chameleon color set. The chameleon label should have clued me in to the fact that these were not what most acrylic paint manufacturers refer to as iridescent but instead an interference color, one which shifts colors depending on the light especially when used on a darker paper.at I hadOK, Once I accepted what I had I put them through their paces. I first noted when making a color chart that the lightest color playful pink did not eve show up on what paper, if you can find that 10th flower in the upper picture your eyes are better than mine. The other colors were anemic and in no way resembled the rich colors on the box and attempting to add more layers with no results. I can live with a nice transparent glaze like color but not ar this price.Turning to the consistency and brush feel this is a creamy lovely feeling paint, it is like a Golden soft body that's been mixed with whipped cream, sadly the lovely feel seems to come from some mixing agent they have used to then out the paints diluting what might have been a nice mixture of pigments were there much of them left to bring some life to the anemic colors.I guess my overall disappointment stems to two things, the hype and the price. I could find a use for these paints, specifically I thing they would make a glaze but when I can pick up a Martha Stewart Pearlescent for half the price that would last twice as long, no thanks.PS One other odd note, this paints oddly difficult to remove from hands, stencils, and brushes. Especially the black (why black?)First of all this paint Among the major
