UPGRADEI upgraded my device from a GTX1660Ti card to this 6800xt card and it's a huge upgrade. I used the freeware DDU to uninstall old graphics card drivers. I highly recommend this program to ensure all drivers and software are removed before installing a new card. This is really important when moving from Nvidia to AMD. I also didn't use any of the PowerColor drivers, but downloaded the latest drivers from AMD's website (21.8.2 at the time of this test). Just run DDU in safe mode, turn off your computer and put in a new graphics card. Restart your computer and install the AMD drivers. PERFORMANCE I play games in VR and on standard monitors (LG 2560X1440, 165Hz). In VR I'm using an HP Reverb G2 and I know there were some AMD driver issues, but they were all fixed a while ago. The VR performance is good and with the HP headset the frame rate exceeds 90 fps at full resolution. I had no problems with VR at all. The frame rate is excellent for normal gaming on the monitor. In battle mode I get over 150 fps. OVERCLOCKING This card loves to overclock. I got the GPU clock at 2600 and it was very stable. The highest temperature I've seen is 75 degrees. Running the test (I used Timespy) I get a value of 20442 on the card (my 1660ti was 6500). PRICE Not a lot of good information about the price. Due to scarcity, these high-end GPUs are going to cost a lot more than they should. I ended up paying $1,300 for the card. Eventually the price will drop, but I don't think that will happen in the next few years. I really wanted to run my VR in full resolution, which isn't possible with a 1660Ti card, so I just swallowed the bullet and paid the money. big price tag.
