My 3 star rating matches the MSRP of $200. These are some of the best speakers of this size I've heard, but I don't think they're much better than options that typically sell for around $100 to justify their price. On the plus side, they are very good. Visually and compact for speakers with a 4" woofer, they also don't try to do more than they can, meaning you get reasonably balanced sound that's clear across the spectrum, and they set the picture good again. On the negative side they still sound like 4" speaker drivers (albeit better balanced than most). I think for home theater surround sound most people would prefer something less balanced and with a bit brighter highs , or there are options that cost less and work well for that purpose too.For near-field listening with the addition of a subwoofer, this would be a good choice, but you're definitely paying more for size (and looks) compared to other options.
