This is the raclette you need. It has a large surface area of 200 square inches, which is significantly larger than others. The top cooktop is injection molded with a non-stick coating. It gets very hot and can cook enough for 8 people. $50 is the best I've found. I just bought another one to send to my daughter and will be buying a third to throw big parties at home. We first bought another raclette which we immediately sent back because the hob was thin metal, like a baking tray. It is heavy duty injection molding, strong and durable. I read several reviews where people were worried the raclette would get hot enough. I'm telling you this one is big, hot, durable and at the best price.
