I received this product expecting to use it with my 4000D (the camera is literally listed in the description). After receiving the product I found that it would NOT work, the 4000D I have doesn't have an area for the cable routing of the adapter as the battery door doesn't close with the cable, a sensor that tells the camera that the battery compartment is closed does not work - the result is that the camera does not turn on, even if it is powered. My only choice was to drill a hole in the cable chamber or return the product. I have already contacted support for a return
