At work I use a Microsoft Dock for my Surface Pro provided by my company. I wanted to get one for my personal surface pro and came across this one while searching. At first I was hesitant to buy it because I thought it might destroy my Surface in some way. However, it was so much cheaper than the MS docking station that I decided to give it a try. I plugged it in and it works great, completely plug and play. I also like that it's really durable. It doesn't have a power supply, so you'll still need to use the Surface charger. I agree because it's a lot cheaper.
