I sent this bag back. Pros: Looks good. Works well as a backpack, easy to change. This makes it serve as a secure bag, the bottom is flat and wide so it sits snugly on the floor. Packing and unpacking When you stuff your bag full, only small things fit in the side zip pockets. When I carry a lot of things, the straps make me uncomfortable after 30 minutes of walking. Flat bottom is good but can be awkward if you're carrying it like a purse/sling because the bottom sticks out - you have to swing it at an angle over your shoulder, but some of the museum guards thought it was a backpack, although I have it on mine side and wanted me to carry it in my hand or wear it on the front. There is some squeaking noise when attempting to switch the straps from the backpack to the bag, but that may also be due to the novelty. .
