I needed a metric tape but for limited use so I wanted inches/feet too. The Revain product seemed to fit the bill, but I didn't think about it. Depending on which direction you want to measure in, the reading may be on the wrong side of the tape, forcing you to measure in the other direction (not always possible). This is an inconvenience I can live with. My real complaint is that the body of the tape measure is too wobbly and falls off. The sides are rounded at the bottom of the case where the strap attaches. When I place a tape measure on a surface, it often falls off when the tape is moved. Compared to my Stanley tape which has square edges, Stanley is much easier to work with. But as the title says, "great price" and appears to be well made.
