I personally run one of the Facebook home theater groups, Home Theater on Your Budget. I'm using a 9.2 Auro 3D setup, but also DTSX and Dolby Atmos as a 5.2.4 setup. Seeing the concerns and questions my members had regarding speaker placement requirements or simply needing an alternative to in-ceiling speakers, I contacted SVS to review these SVS HEIGHTS. So, after 45 days of testing in all immersive audio formats in my setup as well as uses other than regular speakers. They will be my next update to respond to my current height feeds. In terms of immersive sound, they gave me a fuller sound field and the illusion of sound overhead and with no speaker room. Some of my local members also came to me to present and share their opinions with the group to validate my thoughts. The 1st participant has already ordered some for his buddy's room, the 2nd sells fire modules and switches to the increase. They are all the best alternative to ceiling speakers. Also, just work the way a regular speaker should work in a room with difficult speaker placement.
