I did it myself: my feedback

There are 3 screws you need a Philips head small screwdriver. If I can do it you can too. I don't need to buy a new stick vacuum.

Pros

Great vacuum- just needed battery pack

Cons

Batteries may lose their ability to hold a charge over time
