Mac Mini Hard Drive Replacement (Late 2014)
I needed to replace an old and slow hard drive in my MacMini with a new solid state drive. Apple intentionally made it harder to disassemble the machine. At first they used torx screws instead of regular screws. Then, instead of regular torx screws, they used high-security torx screws that don't fit in a regular torx screwdriver. The screws have a tiny knob on the bottom of the torx socket and won't fit a regular torx screwdriver. This special Torx screwdriver set contains suitable screwdrivers for Apple screws. So it's actually two sets of Torx screwdrivers; normal and high security. He also has a plastic tool to pry off the Apple case. Goodbye.
