This scale is great! I like the slim compact design which makes it attractive and easy to store. The display is bright and big enough to read well. It seems very accurate and I love the fact that you can easily switch from grams to milliliters and ounces. It comes with simple instructions but is ready to use right out of the box. It has an automatic shut off. So if you forget to turn it off, it won't drain the battery. The surface is large enough to hold a mixing bowl, which is an improvement over my old kitchen scale. Glad this can be used with European recipes that use weight rather than volume and also for portion control. The price is also very reasonable! This scale will complement my kitchen perfectly and will make a great gift for a home cook.
