My husband installed it a few days ago and I used it straight away. It holds my LG tablet firmly and for everyday use I position the tablet horizontally. (I use a tablet to input the Sirius XM radio in the car so I can listen to it on the way to work.) That's good for that, but I was hoping that with the tablet standing upright it would work with it i could use a bigger gps than my phone. My conclusion after this weekend trip! It is excellent! I have a Nissan Versa Note (small narrow car) and even with my 6ft man sitting next to me in the passenger seat there was enough room to rotate the tablet to a vertical position without banging my knee. He told me that this did not invade his personal space at all. I can plug my tablet into the aux port and hear directions on the radio, so I don't have to worry about missing a turn or changing lanes in busy areas. It wobbles VERY slightly, but since I'm not looking at it (I'm just looking at it for visual inspection), it's not a problem at all.
