Review on National Tree Company 7.5ft Pre-Lit Slim Christmas Tree - Green Kingswood Fir with White Lights & Stand by Casey Murphy

Beautiful tree, pre-lit bulbs are useless

This is my third Christmas with this tree. Year 1: This is an artificial Christmas tree, you fluffed it up to make it look pretty. The tree was a perfect fit for my tiny 1940's house, and I complemented the existing light fixtures with two color-changing string lights from Costco. I like it. Year 2: Starts well, headlights all work, turn Costco headlights back on as an add-on. and then the entire section of light goes out. These are supposed to be lamps that continue to work even if one of them blows, so I tried replacing the fuse but to no avail. I buy a rack for 100 bulbs and flood the burned area. Towards the end of the Christmas season another section burned down and I decided to just wait until next year to sort it out. Year 3: Check each section before building the tree, none caught fire. not a single lightbulb. I try the fuses again, checking for loose/missing bulbs, but nothing works. Wrap the tree with 700 bulbs that I bought or have already bought and it looks amazing. In the future I will continue to use wood, but before I remove it this year I will remove the pre-stretched lamps. I love that I can have a big tree without taking up valuable space in my small house. If a lighted Christmas tree is important to you (like me), don't buy this tree. In my experience, once an entire section of light has gone out, you don't waste time trying to fix the problem. And even when existing lights work, you can complement them with additional lights to really shine.
