After 20S it was a disaster

I bought this product after a generally happy experience with 20S. I was very disappointed with this product and the lack of support from Sena. Pros: - Mesh just works. But it also kills battery life. - The app has audio mixer controls. - Not fully tested yet, but Bluetooth sound quality could be improved over 20S. Disadvantages: - Increased startup time. All beeps and notifications deviate from 20S for no apparent reason. Starts with "Preparing Headset" - my 20S said "Hi!", a little nicer. - The 30K product page prominently features a docking station. The scope of delivery does not include a docking station. Yes, it's not on the leaflet, but if the website doesn't have a link to the product page and no information about how to purchase the charger separately, that's a bit misleading. - The app sucks. For example, if FM radio is enabled, changing a setting will switch to FM radio instead of leaving the settings window open. There is also a large delay between actions - Voice control is just as useless as it was on 20S - Based on 20S, the "shark fin" thing is extremely annoying. I need to change the way the volume is controlled. It's not as easy with gloves as it is with the 20s. The fin interferes with the quick control. The mesh button is difficult to use when the antenna is down. I can see this is intentional, but it's harder to pull off the antenna with gloves on than the 20S. - One of the blocks was broken. The rotary switch was poorly made and stuck when turning. This could cause the button to get stuck (and perform a "press and hold" action), or just not work at all, or have an inconsistent response so I couldn't feel if I was pressing it. β€” The other unit was defective. Not sure if it was the base or the device, but the mic usually doesn't work and keeps disconnecting. - Dealing with customer support on these issues was terrible. They spent more time verifying the purchase of a product that didn't even come out within a tenth of the warranty period than actually fixing the problem. After more than a week and still without an RMA number (practically contactless) I returned the product. Might try again as my friend was using one of the headsets and at least listened to us on the go (but wasn't able to reply a couple of times uninterruptedly) the device liked it. I assume what people are saying about Sena and new product releases is true.
