It shows the surface temp of the pool.
It does show the surface temperature of my pool but it isn’t very easy to read it. In order for it to correctly gage the temperature you need to let some water enter the tube so that it stays perpendicular, which is a bit annoying. It’s cute and works.
- Easy to read. Seems to be floating up straight and showing the water temperature.
- The product is not effective in measuring the temperature of deep pools
