It’s sturdy, but the fishing rod mechanism of the wand doesn’t really work with the provided string. It’s long and the line goes far, but in my mind I imagined reeling it out for the cat almost like a legit fishing pole. I just use it like a regular wand and it’s fine. The toys that came with it are okay but my cats still prefer the fuzzy worm ones.UPDATE: my kitten chewed through the string within 2 days, we’re going to keep the pole but we’re gonna use legit fishing lineUPDATE 2: the manufacturer offered a replacement so that’s nice. Also used fishing line through the old wand and it works awesome!
