They work great. Less slip and protects spikes. I'm seeing some wear and tear after a year, but that's to be expected. The only problem is that the cases are a little clunky and sometimes creak. A little dry lube will calm them down for a while. Updated 6/2018 Still working great. The clutch pattern is almost worn out but is still stuck to the bottom. The squeaking diminished as it wore out. I need to use bulkiness. They secure the stock several times from slipping. Without them, the Speedplay boots are slippery. I'll buy them again when they're worn out.
