Why doesn't the tip work?
Have been using this for a few months now and only use it on a nonstick pan when turning eggs and the like. The entire rim along the tip looks rough and scaly. I'm sure the little bits end up in the food. The handle says Kitchenaid, but maybe it's a fake? In any case it was a very expensive item for a plastic turner and I was hoping the quality would be the same. You don't always get what you pay for, in which case I say definitely don't buy.
