Review on Sound Bar JBL Cinema SB160 Black by Bambang Tjahaya ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just super, the product is made wonderfully, very satisfied.

We chose between mini music centers, used active acoustics with ebay and a soundbar. There is one laudatory review on the network for this model and few reviews on the Market, but we decided to take a chance and bought two pieces at once. They brought it, plugged it into the socket, plugged in the cables (one TV for optics, the other for HDMI) and it all worked. No dumps, breaks in communication, and other things were not noticed. By hdmi, the volume is controlled from the TV remote control, by optics, the native acoustics remote control. Important! When you take such equipment, be sure to consider the cubic capacity of the room! A friend of mine has the same model of a cinema that wonderfully "rocks" the kitchen of 10m2 and goes out in the living room of 24m2. In my case, in two rooms, 20 and 14 m2, this soundbar is more than enough. Before that, in a large room there was a JVC 150W receiver, + a pair of 150W floorstanding speakers. Yes, on good acoustics, the sound, of course, was better, but the soundbar is also not bad. Of course, there are not enough mids, the sound volume is not very good, the bass is really BAS, which sometimes puts pressure on the ears. When idle, it turns itself off, which is convenient. In principle, taking into account the form factor, the purchase justified itself by 100%. This is a simple home acoustic, not an audiophile super system. Watching a movie, listening to music and not arousing the hatred of the neighbors of these acoustics is quite enough. For a really large room with high ceilings, you need to look for something more serious.

Pros
  • Sound quality, functionality, appearance, minimum number of wires.
Cons
  • Weak mids, no bass control, no volume indication, no optical cable included, which costs 150. Ashamed.
