Pretty decent size for a small one. My toddler is 2 years old and quite big for him. He loves it and I would say I love it for him, which I do, except the build kinda sucks. It's very easy to assemble, but the bars don't slide into anything to secure it. You simply lean the poles against the walls inside the tent. Racks are fully open. The base doesn't stick anywhere and doesn't snap anywhere. I think the best comparison I can make is like leaning a broom or mop against a wall. The poles are curved to conform to the shape of the tent and ties hang up from the tent to tie around the tops of the poles to hold them in place. However, since there are no stoppers at the bottom and the sticks don't slide in anywhere, the sticks tend to knock down or come loose easily when children are playing. One of the ties came loose while my toddler was playing and it's just hard to keep the bars in place unless you have kids indoors crawling around and sitting still. It's likely that a person, or even a dog, walking by and accidentally tripping over a tent can knock these poles out of place a bit. It's very cute for kids but I just can't understand why the bars aren't attached. Before you decide on this one, read the reviews of other children's tents. I've had mine for less than a month and need to either find a way to tamper with it or just throw it out. At the moment he doesn't even get up at this point because of the reversed poles.
